It’s another edition of Sunday Reflection. We are all familiar with the word “stress”. And so, this sunday, were gonna “rest from stress.” Our scripture reference is from
Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. .
Stress is when pressures of our day to day activities wear down our mental state.
One source of “STRESS” comes from “WORRY”. Being worried about getting laid off from your job, or worried about having enough money to pay your bills, or worried about your mother when the doctor says she may need an operation. In fact, to most of us, stress is synonymous with worry. If it is something that makes you worry, then it is stress.
Many people feel stressed when they get over excited around big moments in their lives. Demands and high expectations from our relationships, workplaces, business and ministry are also contributory. Envy, jealousy and insecure are also factors as well.
Stressful situations are a part of life but let it not affect you, rather rest in His arms, close your eyes and have a peaceful night and day! For surely tomorrow will be a better day!
